These terms are the agreement between you and LOKKR for using the app and site. They cover who can join, how your account works, what is and isn't allowed, what happens to the things you post, and the limits of what we are responsible for. Using LOKKR means you accept them.
Agreement
By accessing or using LOKKR (the “Platform”) you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform. These terms are a binding agreement between you and LOKKR covering the web app, the site and related services.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use LOKKR.
By joining, you confirm that:
You are 18 or older
You can legally enter into a binding agreement
No law that applies to you prohibits you from using the Platform
You have not previously been banned from LOKKR
You will follow these terms and the laws that apply to you
We may ask for age verification at any time. Lying about your age ends your account immediately.
Your account
When you create an account you agree to:
Give accurate, current information and keep it that way
Keep your password to yourself
Tell us right away if someone else gets into your account
Take responsibility for everything done under it
One account per person. Extra accounts made to dodge a ban, a block or a restriction, or to deceive other members, get every account you hold permanently suspended.
What the Platform is
LOKKR offers nightlife and social features including:
Events and venues: listings, RSVPs, saves, guest lists, check-ins and the map
People: a nearby grid, profiles, Scout Mode, and connections made through events
Messaging: direct messages with photos, voice notes and translation
Drip: posts, 24-hour stories, likes, comments, shares and tags
Play: teases, the Tempt List, the Fling Forecast and the Vault, a private photo set unlocked by mutual consent
After Hours: member-hosted private and invite-only parties
Reading and shopping: The Backroom, LOKKR Leaks and the merch store
Features can change. We may add, alter, pause or retire any of them at any time.
What you may do
Make a genuine profile that represents you
Connect with other adults for nights out, friendship, community or dating
Share photos of yourself within the Content Rules
Take part in events, parties and the community
Talk to other members with respect
Report members who break the rules
What you may not do
Deception
Create fake profiles or impersonate anyone
Use photos that are not of you
Misrepresent your age, identity or intentions
Run bots, scripts or automation against the Platform
Harmful content
Post anything involving minors, in any context
Share intimate images of someone without their consent
Upload illegal content, including the sale of drugs or weapons
Promote violence, hate or discrimination
Commercial activity
Solicit money, goods or services from members
Promote OnlyFans, Fansly or other paid-content accounts
Advertise escort services or prostitution
Spam, mass-message or market to members
Use the Platform for business without our written permission
Harassment and abuse
Harass, stalk or threaten anyone
Keep sending explicit content after being asked to stop
Dox anyone or share their private information
Discriminate against other members
Get around a block or a restriction
Platform abuse
Hack, exploit or disrupt the Platform
Circumvent security measures
Scrape, copy or harvest member data
Interfere with anyone else's access
Reverse-engineer any part of the Platform
Content and intellectual property
Your content
You own what you post. By posting, you give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, display and distribute it as needed to run the Platform. The licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies that other members already received, such as messages.
Moderation
We moderate with automated systems, including AI, and human review. Photos, profile text, posts, stories, comments, teases and messages may be checked against the Content Rules. Content that breaks them is removed and you are told why; repeat violations lead to suspension.
Our content
LOKKR's name, logos, designs, features, editorial and code are protected by intellectual-property law. You may not copy, modify, distribute or build on them without explicit permission.
Merch orders
LOKKR is free to use, with no paid tiers or subscriptions. Merch is sold through our Shopify store: Shopify is the merchant of record, processes your payment and handles fulfilment, and its terms, shipping and refund policies apply to every order. Prices are shown in Canadian dollars unless stated otherwise.
If we introduce paid features later, these terms will be updated and you will be told before anything is charged.
Location
LOKKR uses the location you set to show people nearby and to place you on the map. By setting a location you agree that:
Your approximate distance from other members may be shown
Your check-ins are visible on the venue page while they are live
You can remove your location at any time, which takes you off the grid
You are responsible for your own safety when meeting other members. Meet in public first, and tell someone where you are going.
Safety and risk
LOKKR connects adults. You accept that:
We do not run background checks on members
Members may not be who they claim to be
You alone are responsible for your interactions, on and off the Platform
Meeting people from the internet carries risk, and you will use judgment
We are not responsible for any member's conduct
Report harassment, threats or illegal behaviour to us immediately, and to the police where warranted.
Ending an account
By you
Contact support to delete your account. Your profile comes down, your personal data is removed and what must stay for safety records is anonymized, as set out in the Privacy Policy.
By us
We may suspend or terminate your account if you:
Break these terms or the Content Rules
Engage in fraud or illegal activity
Create risk or legal exposure for LOKKR
Harm other members or the community
Effect
On termination your right to use the Platform ends at once. The sections on intellectual property, disclaimers, limits of liability and disputes survive.
Disclaimers and limits
No warranties
The Platform is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free, and we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LOKKR is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, use or goodwill, arising from your use of the Platform.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LOKKR and its officers, directors, employees and agents from claims, liabilities, damages, losses and expenses arising from your use of the Platform or your breach of these terms.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which LOKKR operates, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes arising from these terms or your use of the Platform are resolved through binding arbitration where the law allows it, and you waive participation in class actions or class-wide arbitration.
Nothing here removes rights you have as a consumer under the law where you live.
Changes and severability
We may change these terms. Material changes are announced in the app or by email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continuing to use LOKKR after that means you accept them; if you don't, stop using the Platform.
If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, it is narrowed to the minimum needed or removed, and the rest stands.
