Why we built it
The scene was everywhere. The map was nowhere.
A warehouse party lived on one ticket site. A drag brunch lived on another. The bill went up on Instagram a week out, and the leather bar posted its month on a calendar nobody checked. The queer layer of this city's nightlife was real and it was scattered, and the apps that claimed to serve us were built for swiping, not for going out.
We wanted the room, not the grid. So we built the thing we kept wishing existed: every night that matters, researched properly, with the people heading there beside it.
How it works
Find the night.
Events, venues and the map
Every listing is written from the real source — the ticket page, the promoter, the room. Door times, tiers, the lineup, what kind of night it is and who it's for. If nothing is published, the field stays honest and empty.
The Backroom
LOKKR's magazine: scene reports, the people who make the nights, guides to the rooms. Read it before you go, or after 4AM when you need to know what just happened.
Find your people.
Who's going, who's near
See who's heading to the same party. Express interest — it stays private until it's mutual. Message anyone; the only wall is a block, and a block holds.
Drip, teases, the Vault
Post the night. Send a tease that only unlocks when they tease back. Keep a Vault that opens for the people you choose, one at a time.
Unlock what others miss.
After Hours and Scout Mode
Host or find the party after the party — private or invite-only, the address only for the people on the list. Scout Mode lets you look without being fully seen, until you decide otherwise.
Fling Forecast, Tempt List, City Pulse
A read on the night from the signals people actually give — who's out, who's checked in, who you've been watching. Never a list of who looked at you. That stays mystery, on purpose.
What we promise
Private by design.
- Your data. Your control. Location is opt-in and revocable. No location, no grid. Download everything we hold about you from the More menu.
- Nobody sees who viewed them. Not as a feature, not as a paid upgrade, not ever.
- Consent is mandatory. No harassment. No racism. The full rules are short and they are enforced.
- Facts only. An event page never invents a lineup, a price or a door policy. What you read is what the room published.
- Free to use. No tiers, no boosts, no paying to be seen. The store sells clothes, not access.

Toronto first.
One city, done properly, before the next. Every venue on the map is a room we've placed ourselves, every night on the list is one we've researched, and the crews and DJs behind them have pages of their own. When Toronto is right, the next city gets the same treatment.
Who's behind it
Built by us. For us.
LOKKR is made in Toronto by people who are in these rooms every week. The build is public: our dev blog, LOKKR Leaks, says what we shipped, what broke and what we changed our minds about. If something on the site is wrong, tell us and we'll fix the listing, not argue with you.
